Dave Blair, MD
Regional Division Chair for Family Medicine
Dave Blair, MD serves as the Mayo Clinic Health System’s Physician Chair for Digital Health and is also the Mayo Medical Director of the Primary Care On Demand (PCOD) Team. Since its inception, PCOD has offered 24/7/365 telemedicine opportunities with Mayo Clinic credentialed physicians.
Dr. Blair received his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine and completed a family medicine residency while serving in the US Army at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He became engaged with helping to apply technological tools to the practice of medicine while in residency and dabbled with telemedicine while on active duty in the military and on deployments world-wide. Toward the end of his military service he served as the lead physician on the Army’s implementation team for the Department of Defense’s initial electronic medical record. After leaving the Army, he took a position in the Mayo Clinic Health System (MCHS) working at a rural hospital in Bloomer, Wisconsin.
In addition to family medicine, he is board certified in Clinical Informatics and previously served as Regional Chief Medical Information Officer for the Northwest Wisconsin Region of the MCHS. Currently he is also serving as the lead physician on the Mayo Clinic EHR Physician Builder team.

Tanner Holst, MBA, FACHE
Administrative Chair, Practice – Mayo Clinic Health System
Tanner Holst, MBA, FACHE serves as the Administrative Chair, Practice for Mayo Clinic Health System (MCHS). Tanner has over 25 years of industry experience with the vast majority in healthcare practice leadership. Tanner also serves on several local and regional boards in finance, not-for-profit and community development organizations.
Tanner Holst is an Instructor in Healthcare Management at Mayo Clinic School of Health and Sciences, Adjunct Faculty at UW-La Crosse, is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, a Six Sigma Black Belt, and is a Gold Quality Fellow at Mayo Clinic. Tanner Holst has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and an MBA from UW-La Crosse.
