Clinical Faculty, University of Illinois-Chicago
Kari is an experienced Nurse Practitioner, recognized as an expert in the healthcare industry for virtual clinical transformation, designing and integrating clinical programs, quality improvement, change management and population health. In her current role she is Clinical Faculty in the Department of Medical Education at University of Illinois- Chicago where she teaches about patient safety, quality, leadership, telehealth, equitable academic advancement in improvement science. Kari’s previous roles include the Director of Virtual Care at MetroHealth, Ovatient’s Director of Clinical Strategy and Quality, Director of Telehealth at Huron Consulting and a decade at the Cleveland Clinic building their telehealth infrastructure.
As a consultant for Case Western Reserve University and the American Academy of Pediatrics, Kari’s passion for quality and virtual care has facilitated telehealth curriculum development, quality integration of virtual care modalities and optimization of remote patient monitoring.
She has authored numerous articles and presented internationally. Kari’s experience spans all levels of business from complex health care systems to the independent clinician office.

Trevor Cunningham

Trevor Cunningham is a healthcare professional with continuous experience in the telehealth industry. Possessing specific abilities in project management, billing and reimbursement, and strategic planning, Trevor has led a team to advance telehealth initiatives across rural communities over the past 3 years.
Since joining Ingenium Digital Advisors in 2021, Trevor has worked alongside a unique team of consultants to accomplish all project tasks in a timely manner. He brings a new perspective to the team and will continue to develop new strategies to improve operational efficiencies.

Kathleen Perkins
Deputy Director, US Programs Development
Kathleen E. Perkins (Kate) is the Senior Program Manager for MCD’s Washington County Maine Community Connections initiative. In addition, Kate is Deputy Director, US Programs Business Development. She is responsible for leading strategic implementation of new program development and expanding funder relationships, as well as mentoring program staff in program design and sustainability.
Kate is also responsible for scouting new funding opportunities, fostering additional collaborative relationships with external organizations and individuals, and producing new program proposals. She guides the day-to-day activity of the Business Development Manager. She reports to the Co-Directors, US Programs.
Kate completed her Master of Public Administration at San Francisco State University and holds an undergraduate business degree from Simmons University.

Mary Caron
Comprehensive Suicide Prevention Grant Project Manager
Mary Caron is the Project Manager for the US CDC funded Comprehensive Suicide Prevention (CSP) Grant at Maine CDC, where she provides support to the state in order to reduce suicide, particularly among disproportionately affected populations. She is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day implementation of CSP and managing work with contracted partners. In this role, Mary is also responsible for collaborating with key stakeholders, ensuring progress toward identified program objectives, and meeting all federal reporting requirements.
She serves as a coordinator, facilitating suicide prevention efforts among program partners and contractors, including supporting the work of the evaluation and surveillance teams.
Mary completed her Master’s in Public Health at the University of Southern Maine in 2018.

Brianne Smith
Outer Cape Health Services
Brianne Smith is a clinical social worker at Outer Cape Health Services and serves as the Director of Behavioral Health. She manages their innovative Community Resource Navigator (CHW) program that has served over 3,500 patients in the last 7 years and been recognized by HRSA as a best practice, as well the behavioral health clinical team and Recovery Services programming. She earned her B.A. in History from Providence College and her Master’s in Social Work from Boston University.
Brianne has been working at Outer Cape Health Services since 2017 and in the human service field on Cape Cod for the past 17 years. Working in community based social work for over a decade, Brianne has a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities for residents of rural Cape Cod. She believes in grass roots organizing, collaborations and community connections.

Moriah Boatright
Outer Cape Health Services
Moriah is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and joined Outer Cape Health Services in June 2022 as a Behavioral Health Clinician for the School Based Program.
Moriah has experience in both community based and outpatient roles, as well as experiences in macro social work and community advocacy. Moriah has a passion for working with youth, young adults, and families as an outpatient clinician.
Moriah utilizes a variety of clinical modalities including, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution Focused, and Strengths based approaches while always maintaining a sense of client-centered care.

Danielle Louder
Program Director, Northeast Telehealth Resource Center
Danielle Louder is Program Director for the federally funded (HRSA/OAT) Northeast Telehealth Resource Center (NETRC), a member of the National Consortium of Telehealth Resource Centers, where she leads efforts focused on implementation and growth of telehealth programs throughout the NETRC region, (New England and NY), as well as collaborating with colleagues from the National Consortium on nation-wide efforts to advance the reach and impact of telehealth.
Regional activities are carried out in partnership with the University of Vermont’s Telemedicine Program, and through collaboration with many additional stakeholders throughout the region. Key efforts include working with stakeholders to advance access and improve health outcomes for rural and underserved populations through innovative models, (e.g. Project ECHO®), and assisting health systems and providers to leverage telehealth to address today’s crucial health issues, (e.g. the opioid crisis).
Ms. Louder also serves as Co-Director of MCD Global Health’s U.S. based. In this role she is responsible for growth of the U.S. based portfolio, facilitating collaborations with organizations regionally and nationally, and serving in a number of leadership positions, including representation of telehealth and rural health on state, regional and national advisory and planning workgroups.
Ms. Louder was appointed by Governor Janet Mills to the Board of Directors for the Maine Connectivity Authority in July 2021, and received the 2022 Phebe Conrey King Access to Healthcare Award from the Maine Public Health Association.
